February 9: Childhood revisited
Sure, you turned out pretty good, but is there anything you wish had been different about your childhood? If you have kids, is there anything you wish were different for them?
Growing up I had two caring parents, a good home and even a live in uncle. We had food on the table every night and for the most part, things seemed like a regular normal family. Sure we had our money issues, but I never realized just how bad they were till I got older. So, maybe I would change that, my parents having a little more money to make things better. Something personal I would change about myself, is I would push myself more involving sports. I would spend a little more time in the gym and a little less time on a computer. I would have read more, too. From young adult to the classics, I would have picked up a book more than just when a class required. Classes wouldn’t have been so low on my totem pole. I loved college and I should have put forth more effort in classes in high school so I could have gotten more scholarships and enjoyed college better. Instead I had to work full time and could never really focus on my classes.
