Day 13: Clean slate

January 13: Clean slate

Explore the room you’re in as if you’re seeing it for the first time. Pretend you know nothing. What do you see? Who is the person who lives there?

Currently no one lives in the room I am in. The room is my office at work. If I do indeed know nothing, though, I suppose someone could be living here, as highly unlikely as that would be. Walking into the room, I notice an overabundance of technology. Four laptops, three screens, two phones and a tablet. Keyboard and some speakers, there is even a phone. Papers everywhere, whoever uses this office does not keep it very clean. I am sure the person has their own filing system, but no one else would understand it. Two coffee containers and one water cup. Minor tools for working on computers. The person here obviously works on computers. Works in IT and since the office is attached to a University building, I am assuming the person works for said University.

Written on parts of the cubicle is a To-Do list. Another part of it says Travels with two dates. The first being 3/14-3/22-NYC/Boston, while the other is 12/26-1/10-???. So the person that uses the office is planning a trip to New York City and Boston soon. And they want to plan a trip for New Years Eve somewhere, just not sure where yet. The first sounds like a fun one, though.

Other than that, it seems like your typical office.
